The Filé Linear System Kit brings light to the wall as a line: 5 m of fabric cable in shade ECC37, three lamp holders and the parts to route everything neatly. The wall light works like a festoon light and spreads the light over three points.
The set contains seven wooden elements painted black – ceiling rose, three lamp holders, two wall guides and an end piece. The dark surface looks calm and precise, while the fabric cable adds texture. Together they make a light that looks more drawn than built.
The set is made for indoor use. In the living room you stretch the festoon lights above a sideboard or the corner sofa, in the bedroom above the bed or next to the wardrobe. Where there’s no ceiling light in the right place, it creates light on the wall.
The ceiling rose conceals the connection, the two wall guides fix the cable route, and the end piece finishes it off. The mains connection is made by a qualified electrician. Light bulbs are not part of the kit; you will find suitable ones at Lampisto. You put together other colours and lengths in the ‘Build your light’ configurator.
