Which switch fits my cable?
Inline switches are available for two-core (2x0.75) and three-core cables (3x0.75) – the variant is in the title. Foot switches are meant for floor lamps, inline dimmers only for dimmable LEDs.
How do I move the light point without new wiring?
With cable hooks or ceiling hooks: they route the fabric cable from the existing outlet to where the light should hang. One hook carries up to 2 kg; for more, use the cable hooks with screw fixing.
What is strain relief?
The clamp that holds the cable in the ceiling rose or lamp base so there's no pull on the wires. Every ceiling rose comes with one; here you'll find replacements and colour-matched versions.
