The Filé Linear System Kit is a self-assembly wall light: a 5 m fabric cable in the colour CM22 carries three lamp holders and is run along the wall like a string of lights. This creates a line of three points of light that you place wherever your room needs them.
All wooden parts are made of natural wood: the ceiling rose, the three lamp holders, two wall guides and an end piece – seven elements in total. Wood and fabric sheath go well together and give the light a handcrafted character without pushing themselves to the fore.
In the living room the cable runs above the sofa or along the shelves; in the bedroom, above the headboard. The festoon light also works in the study or office, for example above the desk. The kit is designed for indoor use.
The ceiling rose covers the connection point, the wall grommets hold the cable in place, and the end piece neatly finishes off the strand. Bulbs are not part of the set – you'll find suitable ones at Lampisto. If you want a different cable colour or length, build your own version in the “Build your light” configurator.
