Lampshades
Lampshades in metal, fabric, wood and concrete – for lamp holders with shade thread. They direct the light downwards, over table, counter and desk.
Buying guide
Lampshades in metal, ceramic, glass, wood and fabric – all with a standard opening for E27 or E14 lamp holders with a shade ring. A shade focuses the light downwards (metal, ceramic) or diffuses it softly (fabric, glass).
Over the dining table: a diameter of about one third of the table width. A bare lamp holder plus a shade makes a complete pendant light; in the configurator you can see the combination in advance.
Does the shade fit my lamp holder?
Fits any lamp holder with a shade ring (double nipple) in the matching base. The shade is clamped between the two threaded rings; without a shade ring it won't hold.
Metal or fabric?
Metal directs the light downwards – good for dining tables and worktops. Fabric and glass spread it softly into the room – good for the living room. Ceramic sits in between.
What size above the dining table?
A shade should be about a third of the table width, i.e. 30 cm for a 90 cm wide table. For several small shades side by side, 15–20 cm.
