The Filé Linear Kit System with 5 m of CM03 cable is a string light kit that lets you run three visible bulbs in a line across the wall. The fabric cable sags loosely between the fixing points and becomes a design element in its own right.
The kit contains 5 m of fabric cable in colour CM03 and seven wooden parts, all lacquered black: a ceiling rose, three lamp holders, two wall guides and an end piece. The black wood looks graphic and sets clear points along the line of the cable.
The kit is designed for indoor use. In the living room, you string the lights above the sofa, sideboard or dining table; in the bedroom, above the bed instead of two bedside lamps. With the wall guides, you decide where the cable is held on the wall and how low it hangs.
Light bulbs are not included. You’ll find suitable bulbs, for example an LED filament bulb, at Lampisto. A qualified electrician takes care of the connection at the ceiling rose. More cable colours and Filé parts are available at Lampisto and in the “Build your light” configurator.
