Bathroom lights need protection against splashing water. Here you'll only find lights rated at least IP44 – wall lights next to the mirror and ceiling lights for the wet zone.
In the bathroom, safety zones apply: directly in the shower and bath (zones 0 and 1), only lights with IP67 or IP65 and extra-low voltage. Within 60 cm of the shower and bath (zone 2), at least IP44. Outside that, for example next to the mirror, IP20 is enough if no splashes reach it.
Only lights with at least IP44 are listed here. For the mirror: two wall lights left and right at eye level give better light than one from above.
