The Filé Wiggle System Kit in CM27 with black wooden elements is a wall-mounted festoon light made of fabric cable and wood. The cable hangs loosely on the wall and carries two lamp holders – a wall light that looks more like a string of lights than a housing.
According to the parts list, the kit contains 3 m of fabric cable for string lights in CM27, a painted ceiling rose, two painted lamp holders, a cable guide for wall mounting and an end cap, all in black-painted wood. The black emphasises the stations along the cable.
It is for indoor use. In the bedroom the kit works as a reading light above the bed, in the living room as a wall light above the sofa or on a gallery wall. It is also practical in a study with little floor space, because it stays entirely on the wall.
