The Filé Wiggle Kit system with CM17 cable turns a length of fabric cable into a wall light with two points of light. You run the cable freely across the wall and place the lamp holders where light is needed – the result is more line than light.
Supplied are 3 m of string-light fabric cable in CM17 and five black-painted wooden components: a ceiling rose for the connection, two lamp holders, a cable guide for the wall and an end piece. Black gives the set-up definition, especially on light walls.
Designed for indoor use, ideally where a classic wall light would feel too stiff. In the bedroom, hang the two lights left and right above the bed; in the living room, run the cable over the seating area or along a bookshelf. It works just as well in a period home as in a plain new-build flat.
Power comes from the wall box via the ceiling rose. Light bulbs aren't included in the kit; you'll find matching ones at Lampisto. If you'd like a different combination of cable and wood, put it together in the Build your light configurator.
