The SnakeBis Corda is a plug-in lamp with braided jute rope, where the cable becomes a sculpture. It comes ready-made: nothing to cut, nothing to wire, just plug in. The sturdy rope with a diameter of 24 mm sets a natural, handcrafted accent.
The package contains 3 metres of 2XL cord 24 mm in diameter, 2 metres of fabric cable with a 2x0.75 cross-section, a wooden E27 lamp holder 50 mm in diameter and 110 mm high, a metal end piece 29 mm in diameter and 98 mm high, a two-pole switch measuring 60 x 25 mm and a two-pin plug. Wood, rope and metal make a robust mix of materials.
Lay the rope over a ceiling hook, let it hang in a large arc or run it along the wall. This creates a point of light in the bedroom, at the desk in the study or office or in a child's room – with no ceiling outlet at all.
Technical details: E27 base, maximum 57 W. Using the bulb option, you choose a matching bulb to go with it; according to the data sheet, G125 LED globes with 2700 K or 1800 K are provided depending on the finish, some dimmable. You'll find more E27 LED light bulbs at Lampisto.
