The Snake Twisted with TC01 fabric cable is a plug-in lamp for an openly hanging bulb. You need neither a ceiling outlet nor tools: hang up the cable, plug in, turn on at the switch – and the bulb becomes the light itself.
The Snake consists of 2x0.75 braided fabric cable, 3 or 5 m long, a thermoplastic lamp holder with switch for E27 up to max. 57 W and a two-pin 2.5 A plug in an EU or UK version. The twisted cable is not just a power lead but part of the design. The product image shows you the TC01 colour.
In the study and office the light hangs over the workspace, in the bedroom next to the bed, in a child's room over the play corner. As it's simply plugged in, it's also suitable for rented flats where you don't want to install a light permanently.
No light bulb included. Tip: LED filament bulbs with an E27 base, available at Lampisto, suit the visible lamp holder. More cables are in the “Build your light” configurator.
