The Snake for lampshades with RC23 fabric cable is a plug-in lamp that turns a shade into a pendant light. Without a ceiling outlet and without tools, you hang it wherever light is needed and plug it into the nearest socket.
The light consists of coloured fabric cable 2x0.75 in a length of 3 or 5 m, a thermoplastic E27 lamp holder for max. 57 W with ring nut and switch, and a two-pin 2.5 A plug in an EU or UK version. The ring nut fixes the shade, and the switch sits on the lamp holder. You can see the colour RC23 in the product image.
In the study, the Snake hangs above the desk; in the office, above the workstation; in the bedroom, as a reading light next to the bed; in a child's room, above the play table. The coloured cable can stay on show and links the shade with the room.
