The CRAFT recessed light by Nowodvorski is a large light with three light points in a black steel frame. The construction is open and geometric, the light falls freely into the room and the lines of the frame become a design element in their own right.
With a footprint of 117 × 117 cm and a height of 71 cm, it's a piece that fills the room. The material is painted steel in black (RAL 9005), and it is fixed via a mounting bracket with a ceiling rose (10 × 3 cm). That much surface needs a room that can carry it.
The light belongs above a large dining table, in an open-plan living room, a loft, a showroom or a restaurant with an industrial character. In small rooms it would overwhelm; in large ones it becomes the centrepiece.
Technical details: three E27 lamp holders, each maximum 25 W and LED only, bulbs not included. 220–230 V, IP20 rating, protection class I. Tip: large LED filament globes with an E27 base from Lampisto suit the open shape.
