The Selter pendant light consists of long, narrow metal rods hanging vertically from the ceiling. The construction is slender and looks almost weightless – a light for anyone deliberately looking for something other than the usual glass globe and who likes a distinctive style.
Four rods of powder-coated steel are lined up on a 60 cm long bar, with a depth of just 6 cm. The light is available in black or white. Black draws a clear line through the room, while white looks more understated and lighter. Because the rods are so slim, the light barely blocks the view across the room – it draws a line rather than creating mass.
Thanks to its linear shape, the Selter 4 is a good pendant light for the dining table or above the kitchen island. It also shows to advantage above a sideboard or counter. Stylistically, it belongs in minimalist interiors where a few clearly drawn objects define the room.
The four rods contain G9 lamp holders for bulbs up to max. 8 W (LED), with the light shining downwards. The overall height is 120 cm and can be adjusted. Bulbs are not included – you'll find matching G9 LEDs at Lampisto.
