The cylindrical metal ceiling rose set in glossy white with four side holes is a junction box for the ceiling. The cables leave the 120 mm cylinder at the sides, so from one connection you can run four lines to hooks or spread-out pendants. The glossy white blends discreetly into light ceilings.
Each cable gets its own strain relief, all wires meet in one terminal, and two screw points hold the ceiling rose. This lets you hang pendants over a long table or spread them across the living space. The connection to the ceiling wiring belongs in the hands of a qualified electrician; the rest is screwdriver work.
