The cylindrical metal cable gland in brass is a strain relief: it holds the cable in the ceiling rose or lamp holder so that there is no pull on the terminals. The short cap measures 13 mm in diameter and 17 mm in height. It comes with an M10x1 threaded rod, nut and washer, supplied in a pack of 2.
It is designed for fabric cables 6–7 mm in diameter. You need it as a spare part or as an addition when you drill extra outlets into a ceiling rose. At Lampisto you combine it with a ceiling rose, fabric cable and lamp holders in brass or gold tones – or choose the complete suspension directly in the “Build your light” configurator.
