Colour: Black

The black American 2-pin plug is UL certified and turns a light with fabric cable into a plug-in light for sockets to the American standard. The housing is made of polyamide, and the black goes with dark cables.

As a two-pin plug, it is intended for two-core cables, i.e. for double-insulated lights. Fitting is quick: strip the sheath back about 3 cm, strip the cores, put them into the screw terminals and tighten the cable grip. The plug is handy if you're building a light for use in North America or giving one as a gift. At Lampisto you can combine it with fabric cable, switch and lamp holder.
