The LED Globe 95 shatterproof clear by SEGULA combines the round globe shape of classic incandescent bulbs with a bulb that doesn't shatter into shards. Through the clear glass you can see the LED filaments, which give a calm, cosy light at a warm 2,200 K.
The bulb is coated with silicone, making it shatterproof. With a 95 mm diameter and 140 mm length, the Globe is a medium-sized globe that shows off well in open lamp holders without dominating. Like all bulbs in the Vintage Line, it does without a heat sink or plastic parts and stays light accordingly. Glass and filament are handmade, so small variations are part of it.
The shatterproof LED filament light bulb is a good choice anywhere a bulb might get knocked: low-hanging pendant lights over the dining table or kitchen island, lights in a child's room, hallway or stairwell.
Specs: E27 base, 5 W, around 400 lumens, CRI 90, 330° beam angle, IP20, energy efficiency class G. Dimmable with standard trailing-edge LED dimmers; you should check the minimum load of the dimmer. Tip: combine the Globe with an E27 lamp holder and a fabric cable from the Lampisto “Build your light” configurator.
