The LED Floating Globe 80 clear from SEGULA is the smallest globe of the Floating Line in this selection: a glass 80 mm in diameter in which the filament seems to float freely. The 2,200 K light is warm and calm, and the bulb becomes a light object in itself.
At 105 mm long, the Globe 80 is barely larger than a normal incandescent bulb and therefore also fits lights where a large globe would be too bulky. The clear glass with its smooth surface is made by hand, so small inclusions and variations are part of it. The globe is open and can be filled with artificial plants or similar decorations in table or floor lamps – liquids and anything that melts are off limits.
It works well in wall lights in the hallway or bedroom, in small pendant lights above the kitchen island or in several open lamp holders as a group.
Technical details: E27 base, 4 W, around 240 lm (roughly like a 21 W incandescent bulb), 2,200 K, CRI 90, 330°, 20,000 h, IP20. Dimmable with standard LED dimmers (trailing edge), observe the minimum load. Tip: at Lampisto, combine it with a lamp holder, fabric cable and ceiling rose to make your own pendant light.
