The LED Floating Globe 200 clear from SEGULA is a large glass globe in which the filament seems to float freely. With a diameter of 200 mm it becomes a light object that needs no shade at all and gives warm light at 2,200 K.
The globe is 230 mm long and made of clear, smooth glass that is made by hand, so small inclusions and variations in shape are normal. As the glass is open, it can be filled decoratively in a table or floor lamp, for example with artificial plants, but not with liquids or anything that melts.
Over a large dining table, in high rooms, in the stairwell or in hotel and restaurant foyers, the Globe 200 creates a clear centrepiece. Because of its size it needs space and looks best on its own or as a small, well-spaced group.
Technical details: E27 base, 5 W, around 350 lm (roughly like a 32 W incandescent bulb), 2,200 K, CRI 90, 330°, 20,000 h, IP20. Dimmable with standard LED dimmers (trailing edge), please observe the dimmer's minimum load. Tip: a simple E27 lamp holder with fabric cable and ceiling rose from Lampisto turns it into a pendant light.
