The LED Floating Globe 125 inside Ambient Dimming opal matt by SEGULA combines an opal matt glass globe with an internal base and a colour temperature that gets warmer as it dims. When dimmed down, the light goes from about 2,700 K to around 2,000 K, just like an old incandescent bulb.
The globe has a 125 mm diameter but, thanks to its internal base, is only 115 mm long, so it sits compactly on the lamp holder. The opal matt glass with a smooth surface diffuses the light evenly and without glare. The glass bodies are made by hand, so small variations and inclusions are normal.
As a pendant light over the dining table, as a wall light in the hallway or in a table lamp without a shade in the living room, it gives soft, calm light that adapts to the evening with a dimmer.
