The metal cable block is a direct anchoring system for pendant lights with steel fabric cable. It fixes the cable to the lampshade so the shade stays in the desired position without the need for a separate suspension.
It can be used for pendant lights where the shade hangs directly from the cable. Keep the load capacity in mind: the weight of the shade counts towards the cable; for metal shades over 1.5 kg we recommend 3x0.75 or a chain. Can be combined with fabric cable, lamp holders, shades and ceiling roses from the ‘Build your light’ configurator.
