The Smoky Ellipse 220 LED bulb is a large decorative bulb in an ellipse shape with smoke-tinted glass. It looks like a light body in its own right and needs no shade on the lamp holder.
The 220 in the name stands for the size of the ellipse. The wide, rounded shape with dark glass stands out even when switched off and, once switched on, gets a warm, amber core. To go with it, Lampisto also offers the cone-shaped Smoky Cone 140.
Because of its size, it looks best as a single pendant: above the dining table, in the stairwell, in the entrance area or above a coffee table. With 470 lm and 1800 K it gives very warm mood lighting, which you can combine with brighter general lighting if needed.
Technical: E27 base, 10 W, 470 lm, 1800 K extra warm. The bulb is dimmable; check the dimmer’s minimum load, otherwise it may flicker. Tip: it fits the E27 lamp holders from the “Build your light” configurator – choose a sturdy lamp holder and a dark fabric cable.
