Umbra LN 1 Table Lamp
Umbra LN 1 Table Lamp
The Umbra table lamp stands on a pleated base folded like a rosette. On top sits a spherical light source that spreads a soft glow and highlights the contrast between the folded surface and the round shape.
The material is powder-coated steel combined with glass. The light is compact: 13 cm high with a footprint of 20 × 20 cm; the glass globe is 10 cm in diameter. Thanks to its flat design, it looks more like an object than a classic lamp with a shade. The folds catch the light and cast shadows on the surface below, so the shape looks almost stronger in the dark than during the day.
The Umbra LN is a table lamp for a sideboard, shelf or console table in the living room. On the bedside table in the bedroom it gives subdued light for winding down, and on a chest of drawers in the hallway it creates a small island of light. If you like the series, combine it with the Umbra wall or pendant light. Stylistically it suits modern and minimalist rooms.
