Astral 9 Ceiling Light
Astral 9 Ceiling Light
Nine curved glass shades on a long ceiling plate: the large version of the Astral ceiling light is intended for rooms where a large area needs to be lit evenly. The streamlined shades give it a signature of its own, and the row brings order.
The light is made of powder-coated steel and glass. At 100 cm wide and 22 cm deep, it covers a long stretch; the mounting plate measures 92 × 22 cm. The nine shades are each 12 cm in diameter, and the manufacturer gives the height as 100 cm. The interplay of slim metal and glass keeps the light looking airy despite its length.
The Astral 9 is a good ceiling light above a long dining table, in an open-plan kitchen or in a wide hallway. It also makes the most of its length in a living room with a long layout or in an office. It has a modern design and suits minimalist and classically furnished rooms alike.
On the technical side, it has nine E14 lamp holders for LED bulbs up to 10 W, so the light spreads along its whole length. Bulbs are not supplied – matching E14 LEDs are available at Lampisto.
