The black E27 lamp holder with an IP rating of IP44 is made for lampshades on walls or ceilings where splashing water is an issue. It belongs to the IO series and is therefore also suitable for bathrooms or sheltered outdoor areas – provided the rest of the lamp is also suitable for that environment.
The lamp holder is built for fabric cable 2x0.75 and 3x0.75, is double insulated and works with 2- and 3-core cable. With LED filament bulbs it stays hand-warm. Fitting works without special tools: loosen the strain relief, put the cores into the screw terminals, tighten.
